PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To incorporate both a wireless LAN function and a Bluetooth communication function and use the two communication functions at the same time without incurring cross talk. SOLUTION: A wireless communication apparatus respectively includes two high frequency input output signal ports for a wireless LAN communication section and a Bluetooth communication section so as to be provided with a reception diversity function. The input output port P1 of each of the communication sections is connected to a common antenna via a power distributor/combiner with an isolation characteristic. When the wireless LAN communication section outputs a transmission signal, a control circuit detects it and sets a reception antenna of the Bluetooth communication section to the P1 so that the wireless communication apparatus can receive a radio wave from another Bluetooth communication apparatus.
