<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for switching a client terminal in a server/client system by handing over information at the client terminal side on switching source to a client terminal at switching destination. <P>SOLUTION: A data transmission/reception function is mounted on a terminal switching message transmission part on a client terminal, and data transmission/reception between client terminals and terminal switching are operated while being interlinked with each other. That is, in switching the first client terminal to the second client terminal, the temporary stop of communication is commanded to a gateway, and the address of address conversion which has been performed by the gateway is changed from the address of the first terminal to the address of the second terminal, and data to be handed over from the first terminal to the second terminal are transferred, and the status of the first terminal is reproduced in the second terminal, and the resumption of communication is commanded to the gateway. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
