<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device capable of measuring the intensity of laser a beam emitted from an optical fiber connected to the light source device by means of an optical detector disposed in the light source device, and to provide a laser microscope having the light source device. <P>SOLUTION: The light source device 100 comprises: light sources 1, 2, 3 of emitting laser beams; an introduction optical system of introducing the laser beams to the optical fiber 11; a branch optical element 7 which is disposed on the introduction optical system and branches a part of the laser beams; the optical detector 8 of measuring the intensity of the branched laser beams; and a monitor optical system M which is connected to the emission terminal of the optical fiber 11 and guides the emission laser beam emitted from the optical fiber.
