PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration isolation device superior in manufacturability and capable of improving driveability while sufficiently suppressing the fall-down of an inner cylinder during operating a vehicle. SOLUTION: The vibration isolation device comprises the inner cylinder 10 whose upper end 16 is mounted on a body side member 2, an outer cylinder 12 pressed and fitted into a fitting hole 4a formed in a member 3, and a vibration absorbing base 14 formed of a rubber elastic body for joining both cylinders to each other. At the upper end 16 of the inner cylinder 10, an abutting member 42 is mounted for abutting on the body side member 2. The abutting member 42 has an upper face 48 which abuts on the body side member 2 and whose outer periphery shape is larger than that of the upper end 16a of the inner cylinder 10, and an annular wall 46 fitted to the outer periphery of the upper end 16 of the inner cylinder. It is externally fitted to the upper end 16 of the inner cylinder with the annular wall. A plurality of ribs 50 extending to an axial direction Z are provided on an inner peripheral face 46a of the annular wall 46 in a peripheral direction P1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
