PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the beam diameter by drawing a highly progressive beam into a weak magnetic field or a domain other than a magnetic field while making a magnetic transportation magnetic-field domain for transporting a positron beam from a positron beam source to a spot where it is used adjacent to the weak magnetic field or the domain other than a magnetic field where the positron beam is focused to reduce its diameter. SOLUTION: A positron beam focusing device 1 has a magnetic transportation component 2 and a drawing coil 3 at least. The magnetic transportation component includes a component for accelerating the positron beam. The drawing coil 3 generates a magnetic field in the direction opposite to that in one or more magnetic fields in the magnetic transportation component 2 for drawing the positron beam into a non-magnetic field or a weak magnetic field.
