Thermoplastic latticed grating - produced as one-piece die casting of specified dimensions

Latticed gratings for use in the prodn. of ice cubes in refrigerators or for decorative screens on electric lamp fittings are made of a thermoplastic material by injection moulding. The grating is a one-piece design with parallel greating bars and rake bars at right angles to them. The spacings and the heights of the rake bars are the same as, or pref. greater than those of the grating bars. The free passage area, referred to the total surface area, is > 50%. Such a latticed grating is more durable than a welded design and is easier to produce.
