PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator environment monitoring system capable of efficiently measuring environment information in a vertical space of a building. SOLUTION: A measuring device 15 is installed on a car 11 of an elevator 2, and environment information in the height direction of the building is measured along with lifting/lowering operation of the car 11. The environment information obtained by the measuring device 15 is recorded in a control device 18 and then, is transmitted to a main control device 21 via a tail cord 20. The main control device 21 analyzes the environment information every floor, and performs processing such as alarm issuance when an abnormality is detected. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
