RUBBER COMPOSITION, VULCANIZABLE RUBBER COMPOSITION AND RUBBER VULCANIZATE

Disclosed is a rubber composition containing an epihalohydrin rubber and 2-10 parts by weight of a compound (A) per 100 parts by weight of the epihalohydrin rubber. The compound (A) contains at least two carbon-carbon double bonds in a chain portion of the molecule while having a molecular weight of not more than 500. The compound (A) is preferably a cyclic structure-containing compound which has the chain portion of the molecule as a side chain. The rubber composition preferably further contains a diaryl secondary monoamine antioxidant and a mercaptobenzoimidazole antioxidant. A vulcanizate of such a rubber composition is excellent in heat aging resistance and ozone resistance, while having a low possibility of contaminating the environment.
