A solid signboard device capable of exchanging only a signboard unit is provided to flexibly change an advertisement text of a signboard with the minimum cost and effort, while leaving a backlight unit. A backlight unit has a light scattering element installed at the lower side of a light guide plate(140), scatters and reflects the light of a lamp(150) incident through the lateral side of the light guide plate, by the light scattering element and then emits the reflected light through the upper side of the light guide plate. A signboard unit comprises a cover and a solid sign element(110). The cover is separably combined with the backlight unit to cover the upside of the light guide plate of the backlight unit. A portion of the entire area of the cover is opened or filled with light transmissive substrates and the rest area is a light non-transmissive substrate. The solid sign element is cubically formed by using only light transmissive materials passing the light and emitting the unique color or using both the light transmissive and non-transmissive materials, and fitted to the open area of the cover or joined on a transparent area. The solid sign element cubically emits the unique color by using the light emitted from the light guide plate. In case of need, the signboard unit is separated from the backlight unit and then exchanged. |
