摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily obtain proper images, by utilizing an image signal actually photographed underwater, without using information about the depth of water or the like or large stroboscopic devices. SOLUTION: A still image or moving image is photographed by an imaging apparatus (step S12), and CCDRAW data (R, G, B signals) are acquired from a CCD imaging element (step S14). When the acquired R, G, B signals are in underwater photographing, the R, G, B signals are multiplied by an underwater exclusive matrix coefficient, and underwater color-corrected R, G, B signals are obtained (step S18). As the matrix coefficient, a coefficient that would prevent the B signal from overlapping the R signal and the G signal is set, while taking into account the light attenuation factor underwater by respective R, G, B signals.
