The pipe clamp (1) has two ends connectable with each other whereby both the ends (3,4) with one connecting area (5a,5b) has detent means cooperating with each other. The pipe clamp is fixed about the connecting pipe (2) and both the ends have profile (6,7) as detent means correspond each other. An independent claim is included for method for fixing of pipe clamp.
