Foil packing bag has a foil slat (6) arranged on a support sheet (11) whereby the foil slat embraces the support sheet with folded strip ends (13) connected to grasp section (7), which is broader than the foil slat. The foil slat is fastened by means of the support sheet to the bag foil. The support sheet is indirectly or directly connected with the bag inside laterally of the foil slat. An independent claim is also included for the method for the production of foil packing bag.
