The probe has a pipeline (3) that is inserted into a flow channel (1), where an upper surface of the pipeline exhibits a recess (5) that is arranged at a base of a recess of a temperature sensor (6). The recess is covered by a thermal shield (8), where temperature of the medium is measured close to a center of the pipeline and medium (2) is mixed at the recess of the pipeline. The pipeline is made of metal or metal alloy, and seals (4.1, 4.2) are formed at ends of the pipeline.
