The machine (1) has an inner stator (2) comprising teeth (4) unequipped with pole shoe, and coils (5) arranged on the teeth. The teeth have end faces convex towards an outer rotor (3) and axial ends angularly shifted with respect to opposed axial ends of the teeth. The rotor has an annular armature (12) defining an inner radial surface (13) on which permanent magnets (14) are fixed. Each magnet has an inner face, that is a cylindrical portion having the shape of the radial surface, and an outer face which is directed towards the stator. An independent claim is also included for a method of driving a lift cabin. |
