A soundproof material (11) is provided with a first sound absorbing layer (13) arranged on a vehicle panel (12), a second sound absorbing layer (14) closer to an inner side of a passenger compartment, and an intermediate layer (15) provided between the sound absorbing layers (13, 14). The intermediate layer (15) is constituted by two layers (15a, 15b) having a high-density layer (15a) and a low-density layer (15b). The air permeability of the intermediate layer (15) is set lower than the first sound absorbing layer (13) and the second sound absorbing layer (14). The intermediate layer (15) is arranged in such a manner that the high-density layer (15a) is adjacent to the second sound absorbing layer (14). |
