PURPOSE:To control production and growth of microcrystals in a photosensitive layer and to prevent black spots on the background of a copy image subjected to reversal development, by doping an Se-Te type photoreceptor of one layer structure with halogen. CONSTITUTION:An Se-Te type photoreceptor having one layer structure is doped 5-100ppm halogen. In this photoreceptor, the residual potential is 0V, and rise of the residual potential in repeated uses is also 0V, and this means that potential on black solid area does not vary in continuous copying in a reversal development type electrophotography, thus permitting a copy stable in image density to be obtained. |
