The module has a number of thermoelectric half-elements (1) each comprising one of two thermoelectric materials (n,p). Every two half-elements are connected together in series by a miniature circuit board (2). Both opposing sides of the circuit boards are directly connected to a heat exchanging plate (6) by an adhesive connector (3'). The latter is preferably electrically insulating and thermally conducting.
