The unit comprises a fan and heat exchanger located inside a box frame, as well as a filter. The fan draws air from the room through the filter and then blows it back into the room via the heat exchanger. The frame has a plastic base plate secured to a surface of a mounting space and a plastic mantle secured to the base plate via conical tubes which are mounted in the base plate and project into the mantle part.
