摘要 A wastewater treatment device which enables a stable operation to be performed by preventing load impact of BOD change due to rapid flux change according to time in a biological wastewater treatment system, increases the wastewater treatment efficiency, is simply manufactured, and has a simple internal structure, and a wastewater treatment method using the same are provided. In a wastewater treatment device comprising a flow equalization tank(1), at least one bioreactor, and a settling tank(2), a biological wastewater treatment device is characterized in that: the settling tank includes an overflow channel(5) horizontally installed along the entire or a portion of an inner wall surface of an upper part of the settling tank to overflow treated water transferred from the at least one bioreactor; a channel pipe(6) and a discharge port are connected to a lower part of the overflow channel; an end portion of the channel pipe at the opposite side of the overflow channel is connected to the flow equalization tank such that a fluid can be communicated between the overflow channel and the flow equalization tank; and a valve(7) is connected to an end portion of the channel pipe at the flow equalization tank side to return the treated water into the flow equalization tank through the channel pipe when the valve is opened and discharge the treated water only through the discharge port when the valve is closed.
