An apparatus and a method for outputting pixel data with surplus data are provided to make a processed image perfectly reproduced by adding the surplus data to upper, lower, left and right areas of raw data inputted from an image sensor. An image sensor(110) outputs raw data corresponding to an external image. A memory(320) stores the raw data inputted from the image sensor. An output control part(330) adds surplus data to the raw data stored in the memory and outputs the raw data including the surplus data. An image signal processor(120) performs image processing which corresponds to at least one of filtering and interpolation for the raw data or the raw data to which the surplus data is added. The output control part inputs the raw data corresponding to the number of pixels in one frame to the image signal processor line by line.
