ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENT DISPLAY DEVICE

An organic electro-luminescent display device is provided to reduce manufacturing cost by using a data driver IC(Integrated Circuit) manufactured for an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device as a data driver IC thereof. An organic EL(Electro-Luminescent) display device includes plural pixels and a data driver IC(HDRV). The data driver IC supplies a data signal to respective pixels through data lines. Each of the pixels includes an organic EL element, which includes an organic luminescence layer between anode and cathode electrodes, and a pixel circuit for controlling the organic EL element. The pixel circuit controls luminance of the organic EL element per unit time according to the magnitude of a data signal voltage. The data driver IC includes a terminal for controlling the timing that inverses the polarity of the data signal. The organic EL display device includes a control signal supplying circuit(TCON-IC) for supplying a control signal which is used for preventing the polarity inversion.
