A plasma display panel is provided to prevent a connection portion of an electrode from being detached by causing a thickness of the connection portion to be enlarged. A plasma display panel includes a pair of substrates, a partition wall, electrodes, a phosphor layer and an electric discharge gas. The substrates are opposite to each other and are spaced apart from each other by a predetermined interval. The partition wall is disposed between the substrates and defines an electric discharge cell together with the substrates. Each electrode is provided with a pattern portion(131), a terminal portion(132), and a connection portion(133). The pattern portion is configured to correspond to the electric discharge cell. The terminal portion is in contact with and connected to a signal transfer unit. The connection portion is used to connect the pattern portion with the terminal portion, and has a thickness larger than that of the pattern portion. The phosphor layer is disposed in the electric discharge cell. The electric discharge gas is provided in the electric discharge cell.
