Provided is a pouch type lithium secondary battery to reduce dead space for maximizing the internal volume by forming an electrode assembly accommodation part having round lower part. The pouch type lithium secondary battery comprises an electrode assembly(120) which is provided with a first electrode plate having a first electrode tap(127), a second electrode plate having a second electrode tap, and a separator located between the first electrode plate and the second electrode plate(128); and a pouch(130) which is divided into a front surface and a back surface having an electrode assembly accommodation part by a lower bending line and has an edge part where the front surface and the back surface are closely adhered, wherein a convex round-shaped lower surface is formed in the opposite direction to the withdrawing direction of the electrode tap. |
