A water refrigerant type heat exchanger is provided to increase heat exchange efficiency by making cooling water of a low temperature and gas refrigerant of a high temperature flow in the opposite directions, and simplify installation of the heat exchanger in a small space. A water refrigerant type heat exchanger includes a tube element(110) formed of a plurality of tubes. The tube element has a first flat tube(112) for passing cooling water of low temperature and having both horizontal ends, and two second tubes(114) for passing gas refrigerant of high temperature and having both ends(114a,114b) apart from each other in the opposite direction from the first tubes. The second tubes are stacked at both sides of the first tube, so that middles parts of the both ends of the second tube are in close contact with top and bottom surfaces of the first tube. A plurality of headers are first and second cooling water headers(122,124) and U-shaped third and fourth refrigerant headers(126,128). The first and second cooling water headers are connected to both ends of the first tube in the vertical direction, wherein one end of each of the headers is blocked by a cap(126a) and the other end is connected to a pipe for a cooling water circuit. The third and fourth refrigerant headers connected to the both ends of the second tubes in the vertical direction, wherein one end of each of the headers is blocked by a cap(128a) and the other end is connected to a pipe of a refrigerant circuit. |
