Ribbon (220,240) holds the profile members (202) together along their length. The ribbon (220,240) imparts lateral strength to the assembly (200) by being braced to the profile members (202). A method for manufacturing the structural assembly (200) comprises winding the ribbon (220,240) about a support structure to form a bracing lattice, positioning the profile members (202) in a predetermined position on the support structure; and bonding the profile members (202) to the bracing lattice to form a structural assembly (200).
