<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suturing needle which is designed to operate within a limited space for cardiovascular operation, vascular operation, and microvascular operation. <P>SOLUTION: The needle is a surgical operation suturing needle and comprises an arc-shaped part having a first end, a second end, and a radius; a pointed top positioned near by the first end of the arc part; and a relatively straight grip positioned adjacent to the second end of the arc part, wherein the grip and the arc part form a connection angle between the grip and the arc part; the connection angle is specified by the longitudinal axis of the grip and the tangent at the second end of the arc part, and has a range of about 23°-about 29°C; and the grip has a length. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
