<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder type damper wherein braking force increases toward a stroke end of an object. <P>SOLUTION: A reciprocatable moving member 6 is provided in a cylinder 4, a spring 14 is interposed between the moving member and an end of the cylinder, a moving member side inclined surface 6b tapered toward the spring 14 is provided in a surface facing the spring 14 in the moving member 6, a braking member 15 expandable in a diameter direction is provided between the moving member side inclined surface 6b and the spring 14, and a braking member side inclined surface 15a facing the moving member side inclined surface 6b is provided at the braking member 15. When the moving member 6 moves resisting against a spring force of the spring 14, both the mutually facing inclined surfaces 6b are mutually pressed by a moving force of the moving member and the spring force, and diameter of the braking member is expanded. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
