PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security system capable of easily disconnecting a network, easily confirming the disconnection and securing security. SOLUTION: The security system is provided with respective communication apparatuses communicating with each other by using visible light and an light shielding device for shutting off visible light. Each communication apparatus is provided with an unauthorized access detection means for detecting presence of an unauthorized access from the external to the communication apparatus and notifying the light-shielding device of the detection of the unauthorized access, and the light-shielding device operates so as to shut off visible light when the unauthorized access detection notification is received from the communication apparatus.
