<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tennis racket capable of raising repulsive force, attaining both of uniformity of repulsion property and control property, and reducing an impact and a vibration, by devising a new technology to the conventional shape, structure and function of the tennis racket. <P>SOLUTION: The shape of a face in the tennis racket is made to have projected and recessed curved lines. The grids of strings are made to be the minimum at the center part of a sweet spot, density of the grid is enlarged from the center part toward a frame, and the number of the grids is made to be the maximum in the frame part. The deformation structure includes: projected curved lines whose extension is made to be the maximum, in the frame part of the warp and weft with the minimum grid density in the vertical and horizontal directions of the face frame; and curved lines to be extended in a recessed shape in the middle and divided parts of the maximum adjacent projected shapes.
