Plastic pipe has a supporting layer and an insulating layer, which irrespective of each other consists of an extruding thermoplastic polymer. The heat conductivity of the insulating layer amounts at most 50 percent, preferably 5 percent of the heat conductivity of the support layer. The support layer contains a polyolefin. The polyolefin is polymerized polyethylene.
