PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing device which can be attachably/detachably attached to an astronomical telescope, wherein a good-quality photographic image suitable for a heavenly body can be obtained just by selecting an optional heavenly body as a photographing object. SOLUTION: When the optional heavenly body is selected as the photographing object in a state in which filter information indicating an optical filter suitable for the photography of each heavenly body so as to correspond to it is stored and managed in a heavenly body data base PDB, a control part 101 reads out the filter information and drives a movable type filter unit 113 through a filter driving part 116 so as to make an infrared filter advance/retreat on the optical axis of the lens unit 112 or make a filter selected out of many kinds of filters move on the optical axis of the lens unit 112.
