摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently irradiate a sample with exciting light and to efficiently couple discharged fluorescence to an optical fiber. SOLUTION: A fluorescence measuring instrument is constituted so that the exciting light from a light source 10 is guided by an exciting light optical fiber 12 to irradiate the sample 16 and the fluorescence discharged from the sample is guided to a light detection system 20 by a light receiving optical fiber 18. A connection lens 14 is mounted in front of the sample side of the exciting light optical fiber and the light receiving optical fiber while a sample container 22 for housing the sample is formed into the structure with which a lens part 24 for condensing exciting light and fluorescence to the bottom of a cylindrical body is integrated. The exciting light becomes parallel light or converged light by the connection lens 14 to be condensed to the sample by the lens part of the bottom part of the sample container.
