PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator door device capable of preventing any improper operation of other sensors caused by the interference of detection beams from floodlights. SOLUTION: A door control circuit 29 detects an obstacle at an entrance by detecting blockage of the detection beams from at least one of first and second floodlights 18, 20 during the door closing operation. When the obstacle at the entrance is detected during the door closing operation, the door control circuit 29 inverts and opens a door body. In addition, the door control circuit 29 prevents the projection of the detection beams from the first and second floodlights 18, 20 during the door opening operation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
