PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic switch capable of easily joining both a terminal 16 and a plate 17 for conduction without exchanging them after assembling a contact cover 3 again even in the case a joining part A of the terminal 16 and the plate 17 for conduction are removed in order to remove the contact cover 3. SOLUTION: One connection piece 17f and the other connection piece 17g are installed at the plate 17 for the conduction, and the one connection piece 17f is joined to the tip side of the terminal 16 while the other connection piece 17g is left as a non-joining part B without being joined to the terminal 16. Therefore, even in the case the joining part A of the terminal 16 and the one connection piece 17f are removed in order to remove the contact cover 3 from a solenoid, after assembling the contact cover 3 again, since the other connection piece 17g left as the non-joining part B can be joined to the terminal 16, exchange of the terminal 16 and the plate 17 for the conduction is unnecessary, and cost-increase accompanied with parts exchange can be evaded.
