PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device that can simplify unloading task of a board and can easily unload and load the board even if the thickness of the board is thin, and to provide a method therefor. SOLUTION: A board dropper 50 unlocks a clamp 48 clamping a board W in fallen condition of a transport hanger 15. A board container 52 receives and houses the board W when the transport hanger 15 has fallen vertically. By activating a rotate cylinder 54a, the board container 52 is rotated.
