PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To judge the quality of a pixel one by one, regarding an electrooptical apparatus such as a liquid crystal apparatus. SOLUTION: The electrooptical apparatus includes: a plurality of scanning lines; a plurality of data lines; a plurality of pixel parts; and an amplifier arranged on a substrate; and the amplifier has first and second terminals and compares the potential of a potential signal supplied to the first terminal with the potential of the potential signal supplied to the second terminal, and outputs the potential signal while making the potential of the first terminal lower when the potential signal supplied to the first terminal is lower than that of the second terminal, and outputs the potential while making the potential of the first terminal higher when the potential signal supplied to the first terminal is higher than that of the second terminal. The apparatus also includes a supply means that supplies a reference potential to one of the first and second terminal, reads the potential signal inputted to the pixel part and supplies the potential signal to the other, and a capacitance electrically connected to at least one of the first and second terminals, and also, constituted by layering a first electrode composed of a first metal film and a second electrode composed of a first dielectric film and a second metal film in this order.
