PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording disk cartridge constituted so that disabling of use due to deformation of a cartridge case caused by impact of drop never be caused. SOLUTION: The recording disk cartridge 1 is provided with: a recording disk medium 30; a cartridge case 10 housing the recording disk medium 30, while having an opening part 101 for access facing the recording disk medium 30 to the outside; and a rotary shutter 20 opening and closing the opening part 101 for access by rotating in the cartridge case 10; wherein a base frame 132 being a peripheral wall over a rear end part of the cartridge case 10 at a radial direction outside of the recording disk medium 30 is constituted of a frame member 13 consisting of a material of high specific gravity, and a position of centroid (j) is set on a rear end part 10b side.
