PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily detect leakage of blood etc. from a centrifugal separator. SOLUTION: A blood component sampling device 10 has: a centrifugal bowl 120 for centrifugally separating sampled blood in a blood storage space 54; a blood plasma sampling bag 122 for sampling separated blood plasma; a motor 64 for rotating the centrifugal bowl 120; a velocity sensor 65 for detecting the rotational speedωof the motor 64; and an abnormality monitoring part 90 for outputting an error based on the change of the rotational speedω. The abnormality monitoring part 90 outputs the error when reduction of the rotational speedωis a prescribed threshold or more for a prescribed period or more. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
