PURPOSE:To prevent a cell from swelling nearby an injection hole and to main tain the thickness of the whole cell uniform including the cell thickness nearby the injection hole by injecting liquid crystal while applying a larger external force to a cell end part or the periphery of the injection hole than to other parts. CONSTITUTION:A weight 6 is used for the external force applied to the periphery of the injection hole 4, and the inside of liquid crystal cell is evacuated to a vacuum by a normal liquid crystal injecting method and then returned to the atmospheric pressure to inject the liquid crystal. Specially, the larger force is applied to the periphery of the injection hole 4 than to other parts, so the weight uses a wedgelike weight so that the periphery of the injection hole is weighed more than a part distant from the injection hole. Further, the bottom surface of the weight is made larger than the cell to prevent preferably the glass of the substrate 8 of the cell 1 from being strained to crack. A hole is bored in the weight 6 on the injection hole and the liquid crystal 3 is injected by using an injection pipe 7. |
