The invention relates to a medicament, especially for treating problems relating to pregnancy or for inducing an immunological tolerance in patients with auto-immune diseases or having undergone a transplant. Said medicament contains at least one beta6 or beta7 precursor or mature sub-unit of the endometrial or decidual human choriongonadotropin (hCG), and an alpha precursor or mature sub-unit of the human choriongonadotropin or the glycolysed fragments of said sub-units. Unlike the trophoblast hCG with the sub-units beta3, beta5 and beta8, the function of the non-trophoblast hCG beta6 oder beta7 expressed in the endometrium and the decidua has hardly been examined.
