PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus with a liquid crystal display capable of improving visibility of a display screen and operativity of the apparatus. SOLUTION: A display 71 is so provided to one side of a main body 1 of an imaging apparatus D which is a digital camcorder as to rotate together with a rotating plate 23 as one body around a rotational axis 21. A weight 24 is provided on one side of the rotating plate 23 in radial direction of the rotational axis 21. The rotating plate 23 automatically rotates in allowed direction so that the weight 24 side of the rotating plate 23 comes to the lower side under the dead weight of the weight 24, with the display 71 automatically held at a constant inclination angle around the rotational axis 21.
