PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooker capable of uniformly heating a catalyst body and excellent in cleaning performance. SOLUTION: The cooker comprises a grill compartment 1, upper and lower heating parts 4 and 5 for heating a cooked object 3, an exhaust path 7 whose inlet part 14 is made to face the inside of the grill container 1 for exhausting gas such as smoke to the outside, and the catalyst body 8 disposed at the inlet part 14 of the exhaust path 7. A plate 15 is provided between the upper heating part 4 and an upper wall 16 inside the grill compartment 1, and the plate 15 is provided with an outflow part 15a for making the exhaust gas flow out to the side of the inlet part 14 of the exhaust path 7. Thus, the exhaust gas such as smoke receives heat from the plate 15 to have a high temperature when passing through the vicinity of the surface of the plate 15 heated by the upper heating part 4, and the catalyst body 8 is also made to have a uniform high temperature by the heat of the plate 15 and activated. Thus, the cleaning performance of the catalyst body 8 is considerably improved and cleaning and deodorization are efficiently performed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
