<p>The invention is directed to the ethanedisulfonate salt of trans-4-aminocyclohexyl (lS, 2R, 3S, 4S, 6R, 7R, 8R, 14R )-4-ethenyl-3-hydroxy-2,4J7,14-tetramethyl-9- oxotricyclo[5.4.3.01,8]tetradec-6-yl imidodicarbonate (Compound IA.) Compound IA is use for the treatment of a variety of diseases and conditions, such as respiratory tract and skin an skin structure infections. Accordingly, the invention is further directed to pharmaceutical compositions comprising Compound IA.
