<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable loading unit to be attached to a reusable surgical instrument. <P>SOLUTION: This disposable loading unit includes a housing assembly body, a knife assembly body connected to the housing assembly body, and a medical matter cartridge connected to the housing assembly body. This medical matter cartridge houses a medical matter.
