PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a utilization system of ballast water securing washing water for an apparatus and allowing use of treated ballast water in various ways. SOLUTION: This utilization system of ballast water is provided with: a ballast water treatment apparatus 3 treating microorganisms or bacteria in sea water or fresh water and requiring washing of the apparatus at least once a day during treatment; a ballast tank 4 storing ballast water treated in the ballast water treatment apparatus 3; and a service tank 5 storing treated ballast water treated in the treatment apparatus 3.
