The invention concerns a method for authentication by a user of the secured operating mode of an information system comprising means for presenting data to the user, means for input of data by the user and storage means (8), said method including the following steps: storing (11) at least one confidential characteristic event and at least one secret, in the storage means, each secret triggering said events; inputting (14) a secret by the user, via data input means; verifying (26) through the information system that the secret thus input corresponds to one of said stored secrets; upon positive verification, emitting (18) through the information system, via the data presenting means, the stored confidential event corresponding to the input secret; authenticating (20) the secured operating mode by the user upon identifying the emitted confidential event. |
