The invention refers to the field of agriculture, in particular to the industrial pisciculture and carp selection. The fish (Cyprinus carpio L.) strain of Scaly Common Carp from Cubolta is of yellow-grey coloration, spotless, with complete scaly cover, elongated form of the body of medium length, small head and medium caudal pedicle, long intestine and with the medium anterior chamber of the swimming-bladder, contains a small number of soft ramified rays of the dorsal fin and a medium one of the anal fin, and the axial skeleton and caudal region thereof contain many vertebrae. The strain is resistant to low temperatures and infectious diseases, possesses high technological indexes of survivability, increased prolificacy of females, survivability of larvae and fish productivity. The fish strain permits their growing in ponds with stringent keeping conditions.
