PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling element storage belt for a rectilinear guide device, which suppresses runout caused during its circulation and damps its sliding resistance, and also to provide a rectilinear guide device. SOLUTION: The rectilinear guide device 10 comprises an endless circulation passage 28 in which a plurality of balls 46 circulate while rolling. A guide groove 60 continuous in the direction where the balls 46 are arranged is formed in the endless circulation passage 28. The rectilinear guide device further comprises a rolling element storage belt 50 having: spacer parts 51 interposed between the adjacent balls 46; and a pair of connection arm parts 52 connecting the spacers 51 to each other on the both lateral sides of the endless circulation passage 28, extended to the outside of the end faces of the spacer parts 51 and guided by the guide groove 60, and arranging the balls 46 in the endless circulation passage 28 in the arranging direction. In the rolling element storage belt 50, the pair of connection arm parts 52 comprise a plurality of projections 53 extending to the guide groove 60 on their surfaces facing the guide groove 60 in the thickness direction.
