PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latent heat recovery type combustion apparatus in which neutralization of recovered condensation water is rapidly achieved, and wasteful use of a material is eliminated. SOLUTION: Strongly acidic water condensed in a latent heat recovery heat exchanger 14 is recovered with a reception dish 20 and is neutralized in neutralization processing means 30 and is discharged to the outside. The neutralization processing means 30 includes a neutralization tank 31, a first electrode 34, and a second electrode 32. The first electrode 34 comprises an assembly of many aluminum particles, and is connected with voltage application means 37 through a current collecting plate 33. When in a neutralization process positive voltage is applied to the particles 34, aluminum is ionized to neutralize the condensed water. Air blowing means 40 is connected with a bottom wall of the neutralization tank 31, and blown air passes through the current collecting plate 33 and stirs the particles 34 for promotion of ionization. When the particles 34 are exhausted, they are replenished anew. |
