<p>A power tool comprising a reciprocating cuffing blade is disclosed with a dust or debris extraction arrangement and method. A motor fan is arranged to blow air into a conduit (40) which has an outlet (44) on one side of the power tool. The resulting air stream from the outlet (44) is directed towards the area of a work-piece (WP) where the blade (28) interacts with the work-piece (WP). The air stream is off-axis with respect to the intended line of cut (42) of the power tool. As a result, debris ejected on the work-piece (WP) is blown by the air stream away from the cut line (42) to leave the cut line (42) visible to the saw's operator during use.</p> |
